About me: I'm going to start with what I like talking about, then I'll get into some more mundane facts about me.

What I like talking about: I like talking about life, hopes and dreams, trials and tribulations, and speculations about human nature and the nature of existence. I'm currently getting off one of my psych meds, and I feel SO much better--so much more in touch with who I am, so much more hopeful for the future, so much more positive. It comes with some downsides--I'm a little more anxious than I was before. But it's nothing I can't handle, and it's totally worth it. Anyway, this new perspective makes me want to talk with someone excitedly about all life has to offer! I want to learn about you, your life, your hopes and dreams. Let's start a correspondence.

Mundane facts: I'm 27 years old, recently unemployed but looking for that next job--I've historically worked in higher ed marketing. I love everything to do with higher education, although I only have a Bachelor's degree in French (I've never been able to decide what to get a master's in! Too many choices!) I like reading self-help books--currently reading 7 Habits of Highly Effective People--and I only play three video games: Sims 4, Cities Skylines and Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I can never be interested in learning a new one. That said, I play tons of board games with my ex-boyfriend, who is also still my best friend. I'm single, but not looking to mingle--I'm interviewing for a job halfway across the country, and just enjoying my freedom. I also have no pets--my cat died two weeks ago (his name was Mrow Mrow...) but my life is in such upheaval right now that I can't really get another one for a while. But I love pets--mice, rats, hamsters, cats, dogs, etc. I'm a morning person--currently trying to reset my sleep schedule a bit; I was sleeping at 7 p.m. and waking up at 4 a.m. Shooting more for sleeping at 9 p.m. and waking up at 6 a.m. Anyway, I'm rambling at this point, we can talk more soon!
