Shanah tovah umetukah!
I know it's a long shot. I would have better luck finding a decent bagel in the middle of Sahara desert than finding a badass yiddishe woman randomly on reddit. Truth be told, my current situation has drained me. I've never felt more ready to find a new challah-baking partner and start fresh, and yet that goal is immensely far. But I might as well try, right?
I'm a mid-thirties Jewish man who works in tech. I write, play video games, and follow sports, and would kill for some cheese at this very moment (as well as at any moment). I'm fairly fit, and have a pretty nice head of hair, although these days I keep the jewfro in check.
Though I'm not as engaged in the Judaism as I'd like to be, that identity is core to my perception of myself and no doubt shapes the world around me. I know that the connection I feel with a fellow yid is incomparable. If I am to start again, I need it to be with a person who understands where I come from; a person whose eyes widen with lust upon hearing the words "I brought babka."
If that is you, shoot me a message. Feel free to open with your favorite bagel topping, or in typical rabbinical fashion, give me your most controversial opinion about what goes on latkes.
