I've noticed some misuse of terms pretty regularly around here, so just remember that diameter is the distance from one side of something to the other through the middle, while circumference is the distance around it. With a perfectly rounded object, circumference will be 3.1415 times larger than your diameter.

With that said, good luck to you all on your journeys. I finally hit 11mm in diameter. ;-)
