Apologies for the terrible angle. As you can obviously tell, I did not frame my shot first. And that’s because I actually wasn’t planning to pee here, it just sort of happened!

I was at the park this afternoon, enjoying the first spring temperatures of the year. Perhaps it was still a bit chilly for most people’s tastes though, as I only saw two other park-goers while I was there. I took a book to read and after a few chapters I was starting to feel the need for a pee. The park definitely wasn’t prepared for visitors so early in the year either, the washrooms were locked. I had no idea they didn’t keep them open year round but a prominent sign indicated they wouldn’t be available until May 1.

Of course, this was no inconvenience to me, as I prefer the outdoors to a public toilet anyway. So I undid my jeans and squatted in the corner beside the locked door and began to relieve myself there instead. It felt so wonderful to pee in the fresh spring air. I made a sizeable puddle, with rivulets flowing away to melt the remnants of snow. Once my business was done, I stood up and returned to my bench and my book feeling satisfied.
