Every week on the Queens of the Stone Age subreddit we take a dive into a band that has collaborated with, has influenced, has been influenced by or has toured with Josh Homme and our very own desert rockers.

This week we focus on the legendary band from the Pacific Northwest. From their explosive debut to their battle with Ticketmaster to their parade of drummers, they have quite a story. But most of all, they are one of the greatest live bands in history. They never disappoint.

Eddie Vedder has done a number of guest performances with Queens of the Stone Age, rocking the cowbell. Josh Homme has performed and recorded the song In The Moonlight with Pearl Jam. And both Josh and Eddie have performed with The Strokes on a cover version of Mercy Mercy Me.
