This video was taken in my neighbor's backyard, we live in a somewhat suburban neighborhood, south of Atlanta, GA.

The peacock wandered into one of my neighbor's backyards 3 days ago, and has resurfaced today.

I don't know if there are any homes around here that have "pet" peacocks. I don't know anything about their normal/natural habitats (or if they even exist) anymore. It's also my understanding that they can't fly for long distances.

We've called animal control but they're unwilling to do anything (claim to be understaffed).

Any thoughts as to how it got here or why? It's been in the neighborhood for at least 4 days.

I have bird seed for the squirrels and birds. Should I set some of that out in my backyard? Any other organizations I should call? I'd hate for something to happen to the bird.
