Hey all, we found our stolen car, still in the possession of the thief who apparently lives nearby. My partner, like the impulsive idiot he is, took off after him in his own car and luckily didn't crash, hit anyone else, or get shot, although I nearly strangled him when he got home. He called the cops at least and the cops told him that the best case scenario with a stolen car is that it's never recovered and insurance pays out the replacement cost. Our friend, whose car it is, strongly disagrees and wants her car back, saying insurance will cover the repairs. The window is smashed out and I'm sure the inside is well on its way to being trashed.
