Periodically we will be posting tips and advice to make sure your use of this and similar subs goes as smoothly (and kinky) as you wish, and hopefully making you more savvy about the content you choose to engage with. I think the name is both cheesy and memorable, so Safer Sext it is.
Some users of subreddits such as this may have noticed a sharp rise in the amount of accounts insisting upon moving to Telegram as the means of communication, and there is reason for that. And why we try to use that as a criteria to assess risky spam and bots. Telegram makes phishing scams both cheap and easy for scammers.
in a recent article on Telegram linked here the ease and ability for individuals to cheaply purchase software add-ons designed to steal log -in credentials through clicks and bogus content is explained and why this is becoming the go-to, when previously Snapchat, to cite one example, might have been preferred in the past. Not to say that this software cannot be incorporated into a Snapchat message, or masked within an OnlyFans profile. It is simply making it very easy to swindle unsuspecting users across many platforms.
Ultimately we want this to be a fun and exciting room, so we have introduced filters to halt the more obvious users of malicious software and methods. But at the end of the day if comes down to you, as the potential target of scammers preying on your most base desires, to think before you click and consider things like the age of the handle you are in conversation with, their posting history (posts and comments) and otherwise too-good-to-be-true-ness.
So in short, be very wary of those you communicate with who are insisting upon taking the conversation to other platforms, or those that freely offer content or really anything with a link. Hopefully this helps someone to avoid embarrassment, financial or otherwise, while only trying to get a little strangeness.
