Bought my pc prebuilt years ago and want to upgrade my graphics card or cpu (or both) and need help on what to get exactly.

I bought a cyber core gaming pc like 7 years ago and I want to upgrade my graphics card or cpu and have no idea what’s compatible or what’s best. More than anything I just want to try and get my pc to a place where it will be able to run GTA6 smoothly when it comes out.

CPU: Intel core i5-8400 2.8GHz 6-core GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB video card

Assume I know nothing, please recommend what to upgrade next and what exactly would be a good fit for my pc. I can provide other information about my pc if needed, I apologize but I don’t know much about pc hardware and could use some friendly assistance.
