noob. how to upgrade pc
Post Body

so I want to upgrade workplace PC and keep all files intact. I can buy and change parts but I lack knowledge and dont want to screw something. for example if I change motherboard or graphic card not sure if I may need to reinstall windows for example and lost files. so here comes specs

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium (R) CPU G630 @ 2.70GHz

Installed memory (RAM): 2.00gb. System type: 32-bit

Motherboard: Dell inc. 0GDG8Y(or maybe o instead of 0)

from device manager Display adapter: Intel(R) HD Graphics family.

cant understand what graphic family means or how to compare it other graphic cards to check how good/bad it is. I usually goohle rx 560 vs gtx1060 for example to understand what kind of graphic card is another.

I was planning to change graphic card and Ram only but as I understand Graphic family means integrated Graphic card on motherbiard right?

so i have to change motherbiard and graphic card both?

not sure how to google such a things so here I am. thanks for help and bothering you guys.
