so after the most recent windows 10 update i tried to start up halo, but before the game had completely loaded in a notification popped up that said 'dx11 feature level 10.0 required to run this engine' and it closed itself. so i tried playing horizon instead and that one said it wouldnt run because the available graphic memory detected was below 3 GB. and so, being the genius that i am, i decided not to try and fix the problems, and instead tried to play genshin. this time it actually started up, but the stuttering was so bad that i couldnt get past the loading screen and the fans started speeding up and slowing down pretty quickly. At that point i tried updating all my drivers, uninstalling things taking up too much space, restarting my computer (several times), and crying. none of which worked.
after all that i opened up my computer and went to see if something somehow had gotten unplugged or something (mostly just desperate, no real logic behind this decision) and my graphics card gave me a nice burn when i touched it. this thing has enough fans that it shouldnt be getting that hot.
i think "I need help" is an understatement, but i need help...
