I just mounted my monitor to the wall and I'm a little stuck for ideas now. My desk is my work space for all sorts of art projects - the skull is one of the latest - so I want as much off the table as possible to keep the space versatile. I'm thinking some kind of shelf for the speakers that's long enough that I can put my keyboard there when I don't need it. I don't know how to make that work so the shelf will also hide the cables while leaving enough give so the cables can move with the articulating mount. I'm planning on replacing the shit Ikea desk with real wood eventually, but I know it'll always look a little beat up with how much abuse I put it through working on projects.
