White out build

So I want to do a white out build to really bring out the RGB effects of components. But im not able to find all white radiators. Im thinking im gonna have to make my own. My question is what do I need to tape off on the rad to make sure the performance of it isn't effected by the paint? Also do I just use outdoor spray paint youd use for like metal deck furniture?
