Hi folks,
I’m putting together a new build, and I can’t get my machine to post. Specs are below;
Ryzen 5900x Zotac RTX 3080 Corsair HX1200i PSU Gigabyte Aorus x570S Master G. Skill Trident Z Neo 16 GB (F4-3600C18D-32GTZN, DDR4-3600 CL18-22-22-42) x4 Acer Predator GM7000 1 TB Gen4 SSD Rocket Gen4 SSD SK Hynix Gold Gen3 SSD x2 CoolerMaster ML360R RGB AIO Lian Li Uni SL120 fans Lian Li O-11 Dynamic Evo case
When I connect the power, the system turns on but won’t post. The motherboard shows a “4d” error message and the DRAM LED error indicator is on. I’m not sure why there’s an error message, as this RAM works perfectly fine; I was using it in my previous case. The RGB on the RAM also turns on, so, yeah.
Have I missed something? Is this just a weird incompatibility and I need new RAM? Any pointers would be appreciated!
Also yes, I’m aware the riser and fan RGB header aren’t connected, it throws the same error either way and I was trying to troubleshoot a bit.
Thanks in advance!
