can my computers motherboard handle the i7-13700k?

ive got a 0T76PD alienware motherboard and want to upgrade from a i7-9700 to a i7-13700k, but someone i know says that it might fry my motherboard, can my motherboard handle it but also is it even compatible with my motherboard? as i really dont know anything about computers, thanks in advance
