PC build with the following hardware: Asus X570-Pro MB Ryzen 9 CPU Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16x2 RAM Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD Asus Rog Thor 1200w PSU 3080ti GPU

Build everything up,… won’t POST

The orange DRAM light immediately illuminated on the MB upon power on. I swap my RAM with known good cards,… same thing

Try the CMOS battery reset,… same thing

Try jumper on the CLR CMOS pins (might have done this with power on)… but still the same result.

3,762 YouTube videos later,… I decide I must have to upload new BIOS using thumb drive

Download latest BIOS from Asus website, place onto thumbdrive, remove CPU and RAM, put thumbdrive into “BIOS” usb, hold BIOS Reflash for three seconds and the led blinks a few times, then goes solid. According to YouTube this means it can’t recognize the thumbdrive and/or files. So, go through the process of cleaning the thumbdrive, converting to MBR, reformatted new simple volume, reloaded the BIOS update….

Plugged thumbdrive back into MB, held BIOS Reflash button for three seconds…. SAME THING. Green light solid.

So here’s where I’m at,… PC won’t POST. MB won’t take a BIOS update, and all hardware has been checked with known good stuff.
