GPU at 100% usage causes lag in discord with mic

Basically title, in every game my gpu is maxing out at 100% and causing my mic to be “choppy” in discord while paying with friends.
The only remedy to this has been too set custom frame rate limits, but I haven’t had to do this until today with no recent changes in hardware or software.
I’m running a 3090ti and a I7 10700k with 32GBS of ram.
