Sometimes my PC turns on but the display port will refuse to connect to my monitor. The monitor and DP cable is new but will show the âno device foundâ message and turn off. Usually turning it on again a few times does the trick or restarting my computer.
This morning I switched to HDMI to see if that would fix the issues (itâs what I used before I got a DP cord) but then my computer wouldnât load in windows. I was able to see the BIOS screen and when I booted it showed me the windows logo with the loading icon and then went to a blank lit screen. I tried to restart it multiple times but it kept happening.
I even tried using a bootable thumb drive to do a system repair but it said the system can not be repaired (assumes this mean it didnât find any issues?) after almost giving up I turned the monitor off and on one more time and it took me straight to my windows login page.
My questions is what is happening to my computer? Is it the display cables, and the GPU, the monitor, or som sort of boot issue? My windows is currently on a SSD I havenât had any other problems besides this.
