The story so far:
So a few days ago I bought the logitech G502 SE after hearing nothing but positive reviews. I am however retuning it because its just not the mouse for me. It's width is too slim and barely even an hour into using it my hand begins to cramp up just from trying to grip the thing. There are also some other things I hate about it like the software, the lack of a dedicated RGB light to indicate which profile you've switched to and the scroll wheel that just doesn't feel nice. But anyways enough about the G502, it's getting replaced it's gone.
The part I need help with:
- I'm looking primarily for an MMO type mouse but not the usual bunched together buttons that you'd see on maybe the Corsair Scimitar ELITE. More spread out around the mouse like around the left click and down the side.
- It needs to be a bulky mouse. The height of the G502 is perfect but the width just ain't it, so it needs to be wide.
- Another possible shout would be for the mouse to have some form of profile switching indicator, I use different profiles alot and not being able to physically view which one I'm on is really annoying.
- Good software would be a plus. Maybe even on-board mouse memory so you don't need software running would also be cool.
- No wireless mice please, I know its currently the trend but charging them is annoying
- And preferably no scroll wheel gimmicks, with the G502 Hyper-Fast scroll wheel and Madcatz R.A.T. PRO X3 Supreme both having gimmicky scroll wheels with a tendency to break I would prefer to stray clear of them altogether.
Conclusion:
Any help is appreciated, I know I'm not alone in being picky about peripherals so I hope my requests aren't too much to ask. I use my main PC for both gaming and work so having something comfortable and more importantly functional is very important to me having a fun and productive day.
(Mice I've already tried)
- Madcatz R.A.T. PRO X3 Supreme (Broke on me)
- Madcatz R.A.T. 8 (Too thin height)
- Logitech G502 SE (Too thin width)
- Corsair Scimitar Elite (Buttons where crammed to close)
- SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless (Too thin width. buttons too close together and too lightweight)
- ADX Firepower (Died on me but it was a good surprisingly solid mouse)
