Is it time for an upgrade

Post Body
So itโs been about 4 years since I got my PC. I built it myself and at that time I got an i5 8k while getting a 1080, probably not the best choice in hindsight. Itโs been a while and I want to upgrade my CPU as most of my other parts are still pretty relevant. Should I upgrade it? What should I upgrade it to? And if I do should I just swap entirely to AMD?
