Hey all! I'm entirely new to the realm of building PCs, but I'm looking for my first build to be my chance to break into that world. I put together a PCPartPicker build list based on some advice that an old roommate gave to me and the research that I did, but I'm unsure about what I've got so far. I would much appreciate if any of y'all would take a look and let me know what you think!

Some specific questions:
-I'm slightly concerned that the case I've picked out won't fit the motherboard/GPU I'm working with. By my research I reckon I should be okay, but it's something that I want to be sure of. How should I go about verifying this?
-When I put together my parts list a few weeks back, there were no listed compatibility issues, but since then I've gotten the potential issue that "Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs". It looks like the AMD Ryzen 5600X is a Vermeer CPU, but I'm not listing an AMD motherboard, am I? Is this something I should be concerned about, or am I totally misunderstanding the issue?
-I've given myself about a $1200 budget, though of course I'm willing to go over and under here and there. The list I've made doesn't include the price of the Video Card (NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti) but that'll definitely raise the total a fair bit. What parts should I look at cutting costs on in order to stay within budget?
I'm looking to put together a build that won't bankrupt me, but that'll be a good starting place and something I can use for years to come (and maybe play games that were released after 2011). Please let me know what you think, I'll use all the help I can get!
