Having some freezing issues

Hey there, as the title suggests, I am having some application freezing issues. The issue is that I will be doing something like watching a video, coding, or playing a game, and then all applications will freeze. A lot of times I can still hear the game/video audio, and can close windows just fine. However, when I try to pull up the taskbar it does not appear. When I try and search for something in the Windows Search, no results come up. This forces me to restart my PC, only for it to do it 3-4 more times during the day.

I've already tried resetting it and reinstalling Windows, taking out a new RAM card I recently got, running a benchmark test just to see how components are doing, and running several antivirus/security programs to detect any viruses.

I've also tried running some console commands, such as sfc /scannow and netsh winsock reset and although those commands did reset and/or find corrupted files and fix them, the issue is still occurring.

I bought my GTX 1080 Refurbished from Amazon in 2019, so that might be the problem. I also notice my CPU can get up to 55-60C when playing some heavy games.

If anyone needs anymore information about what exactly happens, or would like a full list of my specs, please feel free to ask.
