Maybe a little backstory first: I use my PC to watch films and play games on my TV in the living room. So that I dont have to stand up every time when I want to turn it on, I bought a remote controlled power strip and turned on the AC Power Loss feature in the BIOS
The problem is: To 'turn off' the PC I have to cut the power, so that the AC Power Loss feature works when turning it on again. If I do this frequently is there a chance that I might damage my computer? If yes, is there a more elegant solution to do this?
