So right now I'm working on a whole new desk area (new desk, building a PC, and new peripherals) but stuck on the monitor setup.
I currently have 2 24", 1080p, 60hz monitors that I use for basically everything but looking for a big upgrade.
Right now I'm trying to decide between 2 monitor setups:
- 1 34" curved ultrawide monitor
- 2 27" monitors (one portrait, one landscape - this way BC of desk space)
The 34" would be 3440x1440, 144hz, VA panel (dont care to pay a premium for IPS) and curved. The main 27" would be 2160x1440, 144hz, IPS and the side monitor would be 2160x1440 and IPS or VA (no other preferences).
My main use of the new setup would be for gaming, school work, and media consumption. I understand the advantages/disadvantages of both but stuck in middle. The price would come to about the same so that's not an issue.
Any insight or suggestions (monitors or other configurations) would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers everyone!
