https://i.imgur.com/vNfCghd.png heres a bunch of screenshots showing the packet loss, the pingpath etc
the packets seem to drop whenever i try to do anything, open a link, watch a vid, use discord... but the problem is especially appearent in gaming.
Ill get a 3-5 second ping spike where it seems like my actions are just being eaten, not delayed, ping doesnt go up and after the spike is over the game tries to catch up and all the damage will go out at once, usually ending in death.
ive contacted spectrum many times about it in mid june, and eventually the supervisor basically said theres nothing more we can do the problem isnt our fault.
they have replaced the modem, the cable from my apartment to the box, have increased the signal at the box (so they say) and have checked out the pole.
the packet loss is at 0% whenever im just idling or just doing a speedtest, or in their case, when they direct connect the coax to their tablet.
problem occured from about 6/7-6-18 then mysteriously went away completely, zero packet loss for weeks. then on 7/6 the problem came back.
ive tried, pc to router to modem ethernet, pc ethernet to modem directly seperate pc wired and wireless to router and direct to modem youtube loading on mobile on wifi
the problem is definitely beyond the modem as they replaced the modem weeks ago.
TLDR: extreme packet loss, ISP wont help, i dont know how to fix
edit: i have changed my dns, updated lan drivers, no fix, also unplugged my entire pc and just played a full game of tft on mobile with my wifi, gaining this result
