So since 2015 I've been pretty consistently on the road, performing and teaching (I do circus and freakshow). Which means I've been surviving off a shitty laptop that just barely manages to play LoL on lowest settings.
I've missed gaming, and finally have the excuse (between video content to edit piling up, my ancient laptop dying, corona lockdown, and it being my birthday) to pull the trigger on a new rig.
I'm now doing the (less than fun) wait til it arrives, but in the meantime can PCMR send some suggestions of their favourite games to come out in the last 5-6 years?
When I was last playing, I loved games like BFBC2, Skyrim, Fallout 3, and also indie stuff like Trine and Binding of Isaac.
I'm definitely keen to play The Witcher, should I bother with the first 2 or just jump to 3?
What games do YOU love from the last few years?
Edit: Is steam still the best way to get games? Are there any good subscription services?
