My stepbrother got a new pc Gtx 1660 ti 16gb ddr4 ram I5 9700k But fortnite still won't run. He plays on 1080p medium to high settings and whenever he starts playing there are no problems the way it should be with such a pc. But after about 10 - 30 minutes the framerate always goes down to below 15 fps and according to the task manager the gpu is using 99% of its power. Turning down the graphics won't change anything. There shouldn't be a virus as he downloaded literally nothing but the epic games store, steam and fortnite from the official websites/stores.
