My friend is currently looking at buying the following PC: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Cybertron-GameStation-AMD-Ryzen-3-2200G-3-50GHz-4-Cores-8GB-DDR4-1TB-HDD-120GB-SSD-AMD-RX-580-4GB-GDDR5-Graphics-WiFi-MS-Windows-10-Home-64-Bit-Black/268556184?u1=111346X1569483X8284801b997e7c267d6c1fb40f80ebb8&oid=599512.1&wmlspartner=TnL5HPStwNw&sourceid=04503708773160503988&affillinktype=10&veh=aff
I definitely wouldn’t have bought it priced at $900, but it seems to be a decent deal at $590, given the components and the fact that it would come with a keyboard and mouse (Not top-end obviously, but one less thing to buy) and 2 games since the graphics card is an ATX 580 4gb. It also seems to be a large upgrade from his current computer which is a low-end laptop from ~6 years ago.
My friend doesn’t want to build a PC right now since he feels he doesn’t have the time to hassle with parts and wants to save his first build for when he gets out of college and can afford better parts.
All-in-all, is this a decent deal, given the parts and add-ons, should my friend spring for this, or is there another prebuilt that would offer similar value at a lower cost or better value for the same cost?
