HyperX Cloud II Mic Quality Question

I am looking into buy the HyperX Cloud II headset for my pc. However, after watching some reviews i’ve noticed the mic isn’t the clearest. I’m not sure how to put it but, does the quality sound better when using Discord or playing games/game chat? Or will the quality always sound a bit muffled. Any help is appreciated.
Also, if there are any great and well worth it headsets for gaming please let me know!
