So I'm finally joining the ranks and have a bit of money to play with on building my first glorious PC. I am just not very good at knowing which parts compare with others and whether or not its actually worth it so I thought here would be the best place to ask for help. The to be rigs specs at the moment are likely to be:
Case: Cougar MX330 ATX Mid Tower
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370P D3 ATX LGA1151
CPU: intel core I7 8700K 3.7GHz hex
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Masterliquid ML240L (66.7 CFM)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4-3000
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti 8GB
Storage: Kingston 120GB SSD 2.5" (OS most likely only). Seagate Barracuda 2TB HDD 3.5" 7200RPM
Power: Corsair CX (2017) 650W 80 Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Wireless adaptor: TP-link TL-WN881ND PCI-Express (802.11b/g/n)
This totals at $1855.01 (AUD) on PCpartPicker. What I'm really asking is if there are other parts that might be cheaper, even slightly, and/or better than what I've got here, slightly more expensive if better is good too.
