PC Build - Windows 10 Pro Retail or OEM?

Post Body

Hello guys,

Has anyone had the experience of transferring the Retail version of Windows between machines? How easy was it? I'm aware that the OEM license locks to the machine and becomes unavailable for future builds and/or substantial upgrades.

Typically its made sense to just buy the OEM copy, because by the time I'd do another build it'd be another OS version anyway, but considering MS seems to want to maintain Windows 10 permanently, the thought of never having to buy Windows again is too good not to ask. (I'll just run Linux on older boxes, if I still want them around)
