I just finished my built with a Nividia GTX 1080 founders edition, and it’s hitting 82 degree celsius playing PUBG at maxed settings. I’ve read maybe 30 other peoples posts and can’t find a clear consensus. Is it safe for it to be hitting these temps? I’ve read some people say it’s fine, but others have said it will deteriorate the life of the card. A lot of people have said they’ve done custom fan curves to account for the heat but I’m not well versed in configuring fans yet. Could it be that it isn’t getting enough airflow from the two 140 mm fans sucking air through my Kraken x62 radiator? Don’t mind learning about customizing fan curves if that’s the best course of action. Thanks so much ahead of time for the info/suggestions.
It’s a Meshify c case, with an Asus z370-F, Kraken x62 (two 140 mm fans as intakes, in pull configuration), two 120 mm as outtakes, with a 750 watt psu.
