Can I use the power brick of laptop with another laptop of a different brand, if they physically match ?
Post Body

Hi all.

I recently got my hands on a potentially dead laptop that I'd like to troubleshoot. The issue is, apparently the person who gave it to me gave me the wrong power brick (the connector doesn't even physically fit) so I can't use that.
Conveniently, I found out that the power brick of my personal laptop does fit in the power slot. I'm just wary about using it.
This would only be for troubleshooting, and trying to have the thing boot. No stress testing or pushing the laptop to its limit on an underpowered power brick.

The laptop I'm trying to troubleshoot is the Acer Aspire VN7-791.
My own laptop, which power brick can be used on the above is a (very old) Toshiba Satellite L350-156.

I of course don't want to fry the other laptop by using an incompatible power brick, before I can prove that it's already dead . I don't know if things other than the physical connector/capacity change from power brick to power brick. Probably, hence why I ask.
So : what's the worst that could happen ? Can I fry the other laptop ? Will it simply not work ?

Thanks for any help !

EDIT : Here are the pictures of the laptop's power requirements, and the power brick output.
