Thinking about getting into PC gaming and of course I'm planning on building my own. So how likely is it for me to get everything I need to play 1440p 60fps games for under 1500? I'm also thinking maybe some content creation down the road. But I'm a huge detail fan would definitely install mods like the GTA 5 Real life mod. So gaming below max settings isn't something is like to do. I'd rather kick down the resolution.
Mainly what processor (FX series vs ryzen vs i5 vs i7) microcenter had A i5-6600k and Asus z170 Mobo combo for Skylake for $250 and i7-6700k a z170/z270 for $360/$370 respectively. Ryzen 1600x combos around $260 and FX black combos around $170
Hypothetically if a local store had an open box deal for a gtx 1080 for $400-450 would I be able to get a 4k monitor inside my budget and actually benefit? I'm perfectly fine with refurb and open box parts
EDIT: Maybe crypto currency mining when I'm not gaming
