MicroATX: Yea or Nay?

Post Body

Hey, PCMR brethren. I've posted here a few times recently, so I thought I'd just give an update on my rig:

It died.

Or rather, the 9 year old Foxconn AM3 DDR3 mobo died. So I'm going to have to replace it, and while I'm at it the RAM, processor, and case too. So I was wondering: should I go with MicroATX? I'm a high schooler who's legally too young to work at retail/fast food so I'm on a budget, and I know that microATX is mainly the domain of budget boards and not much else. Are they any good? Is it worth it to get a $70 ASRock B250M or will I lose a lot of power? Should I just plan on building a full-ATX build?

Any help or answers are appreciated. Danke schoen!

TL;DR: Should I get a microATX mobo for a new build or nah?
