If there's something you could tell yourself before you built your pc(s) what would it be?

The last time I used an amd CPU was their athlon series. I couldn't really tell the difference between how fragile individual pins were compared to intels at the time.
Regardless, 5 cpus later, I have yet to bend any pins. Maybe I'm just lucky? I just make sure to warm up my tim before removing the heat sink. Of course, it helps that I never dropped a CPU chip before. Luck is on my side for now

Isn't that more of a concern with amd because they still use PGA

Hahahah my p4 pre built was a Sony vaio. I couldn't even get access to the mobo, at least not as a kid. Pre builts lock up their stuff like crazy, not sure if it's still the case
