First build, finally ascended!

Background: Tinkered with replacing parts but never built a custom from start to finish. I stopped gaming for the past 7 years because of school, but now that I have a little bit more time, decided to build a custom pc. I hope this post helps other future first timers.

Gigabyte z170x motherboard- gaming 3

intel core i5-6600k

Intel M.2 NVME SSD 256 gb

WD 1 TB HD 7200 rpm

EVGA 16 gb 3200 mhz ram

EVGA 650W gold standard

EVGA GTX 1070 SC black edition (didn't know about the heating issues :(, o wells, it was cheap)

NZXT case s340

CorsaIr H80i V2

Intel dual-band AC 7260 wireless adapter

cost: 1250 after tax and rebate all via microcenter

My goal was to build a middle tier type pc that had room for upgrading in the future.

CPU OC'ed: from 3.5 ghz to 4.2 ghz. temps I get are 25C to 43C max C

GPU OC'ed: 2050 mmhz core with gpu boost and 8500 mhz memory

MAX fps on all AAA titles on ultra 1080p.
