So im looking at upgrading from my ASUS 760 Direct CU II card(s) to a newer model. As far as GPU's go ive always stayed with Nvidia based architectures just because I haven't had any experience with the AMD R series cards.
From what I understand is the biggest difference between the cards is the Board Partner's construction weither it be additional power allowance, higher transfer speeds, better cooling for OC'ing, ect. Im looking at getting a 970 or a 390/380 card. Both are pretty attractive in terms of (general) specs (Yes i know specs compared across manufactures isnt a good judgment of a cards performance im referring to specs per Benchmarks) and im really at a loss on where to go from here.
The most demanding games I play are F4 and Division but i do play some MOBA's and the occasional MMO (Skyforged).
So what Board Partner and card would yall recommend for around 300$? Ive been partial to ASUS, Sapphire, and MSI but havent really kept up with the technology for the past 2-3 years. Point me in the right direction guys.
