Help with Cloud II Headset?

I just recently bought this to accomodate my PC, but I'm having trouble with it. I pluged it into a USB port, but the buttons don't seem to work? (volume, 7.1 surround sound). Also, the Cloud II doesn't pop up in my realtek sound manager, so I have to configure it in the audio devices, and I found that even at 1 volume, the headset is far too loud. Is there any way to configure it properly? It seems buggy, and when I press on the volume dial, sometimes my headset goes to MAX volume.
