Lets change the community for the better! The last few weeks/months there has been much debate about women in both the gaming industry and in games. Most of this debate has been centered/focused on placing blame, whether it be the developers, industry, press, community, or persons criticizing any of the above. Truth be told all that has happened is we have divided the community and created false drama. Points being valid or not about views expressed by critics/press don’t matter, opinions can neither be right or wrong, they are simply opinions. We as a community have a choice to decide what we think is right or wrong and can vote with our wallets, make our beliefs known with rational and civil post. The fact that persons have raised money to try and portray women to be of value, to be equal, to speak out against violence against women isn’t wrong. What they do with it will determine whether what they preach was worth the the investment by people who feel the same. As for the development side, lets stop worrying about who she slept with! I have slept with co-workers, and would love to sleep with some of the people company does business with, why is it ok for me as a man but not for her. So far all we know, or can prove, this is based on one man’s story that she is a bad person for cheating on him, that said we don’t know the dynamic of their relationship. We portray him as the victim, and the industry as the victim, but we don’t know who or what he is. More importantly the evidence provided suggest that, while it may be questionable, her relationships started after said members of the press had already reviewed her game, thus having no bearing on said review. Sure we can’t prove that to be the case, but that's the point, only they know!

All this said I have a simple call for the “community”, Anita and Zoe included, nothing is gained from pointing fingers! Put up or shut up, buy the games you love, develop the games you love, lobby for more equal roles! We should be working together to enrich our experience, nothing is gained from placing blame, if you don’t like something vote with your wallet or work to change it. Right now every party involved are acting like a bunch of children, children don’t like something and throw a temper tantrum, adults act. ANITA TAKE THAT MONEY AND MAKE THE GAME YOU WANT, MAKE A GAME THAT CHANGES THE INDUSTRY! ZOE KEEP LIVING YOUR LIFE, LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES BUT ADMIT YOUR FLAWS AND MOVE FORWARD! GAMERS, COMMUNITY STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, SUPPORT WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, STOP ACTING LIKE BUTT HURT LITTLE BITCHES BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS A DIFFERENT VIEW THAN YOU. TO THREATEN SOMEONE ONLY SHOWS YOUR INSECURITIES AND WEAKNESS! ALL PARTIES INVOLVED GROW THE FUCK UP!
