I'm not 100% sure that this is the right place but I have a question about the legal side of UPlay and any help is very much appreciated.
When I signed up for a UPlay account 3 or so years ago, my username was defaulted to FirstnameLastname (details not included for privacy reasons.) Now, this means that I tend to avoid gaming online full stop due to privacy concerns.
A few weeks ago I noticed a legal disclaimer at the end of one of Ubisofts endless marketing emails that stated
You are entitled to access, modify, rectify and remove your personal data pursuant to European Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and/or any other applicable regulations.
Does anyone know if this extends to usernames. I don't want to create a new account as I have 8 games registered to my current account, including two collectors editions and 1 season pass, none of which I wish to purchase again.
Thanks for any help, even if it is just to point me in the right direction.
