One of my misguided friends believes that using a controller on a PC instantly makes it a console.

Context:

Me: It's a generalization that people only use keyboard and mouse when gaming. I use a 3rd party PS3 controller when playing games like AC IV, Just Cause 2 multiplayer, Borderlands 2, Walking Dead, basically any game that has controller support I'll use a controller for. The only games that I use a keyboard and mouse for are the ARMA/DayZ series, RTS games (AOE, Reus) or Indie games that don't support controller use. I have never had any problems with using a keyboard and mouse to game and I find I can use them for longer periods of time and use less energy doing so.
