Hello my glorious brethren, I have but a simple question to pose to any of you out there running the glorious hardware configuration of crossfire. Could someone explain to me exactly what it means to disable "frame pacing" in the CCC settings? I play planetside 2 and have tried setting a custom profile for the game and when I disable frame pacing the game seems to play better but I am not sure what exactly it is doing. Am I getting inflated numbers or is it actually impacting performance in a positive way and the fps is in fact correct? I am running a pair of r9 280x cards in crossfire with the most recent beta drivers installed and with frame pacing on I can't seem to get over 60fps (I changed the config for 120 max fps and I don't run with vsync) and AFR friendly has some kinks, like any kind of overlay just doesn't sit well with it at all but when I disable it my fps shoots up to around the mid 90s and only dips to the 50s when there are a large amount of players on the screen. I really appreciate any and all input on this topic. Thank you for your time brothers.
