So I am trying to build an AI/ML work/test bench to play with this AI accelerator I just got but here's the problem,
My build has a Ryzen 9 9950x with an X670E Mobo and a 800W PSU.
The pain is, my AI Accelerator specifically requires a 4 4 pin ESP12V power connector, the card draws 300W at peak. The cheapest PSU with 3 ESP12V connectors and 1300W (I plan on adding 1 more card down the road) starts at roughly CAD400 after tax according to pcpartpicker.
This is my first build and pc building isn't my expertise, yet.
Is it possible to place 2 PSUs in my PC, one to power the system as it always has and one just to power the Accelerator card(s)?
Thanks!
Edit: Just came across something. The pictures on https://www.super-flower.com.tw/en/products/leadex-vii-xg-1300w-atx-30-bk seem to suggest the power out sockets for CPU/PCIe might be interchangeable. Could someone confirm if they have tried that?
