Extremely slow boot/BIOS with MSI Carbon Max Wifi II Motherboard

I am currently having an issue with the Carbon Max Wifi II and I'm curious if anyone can help me. I just swapped in this motherboard from a Pro Z790-A Max Wifi and the only changes I made were putting in the new Carbon Max and then I dropped in 2 more ram sticks and 2 more M.2s

Ever since the upgrade this PC takes like 5 minutes just to get to the MSI screen and the board shows an A2 code. If I enter the BIOS it is extremely laggy. The mouse in the BIOS is completely unusable and keyboard inputs take up to 60 seconds to register

If I turn it on and just leave it, it does eventually boot into windows after 10-15 minutes and from there everything works perfectly

Things I've tried; - Updated BIOS to latest release - Removed new Ram - Removed new M.2s - Removed GPU - Double checked all connections were firmly in place - Unplugged all connections and plugged them back in - Installed literally every driver I could find for the board

I am fairly certain I just got a dud board but if anyone can think of anything I might've missed while I wait for the replacement to get here it would be greatly appreciated
