Post Body

I suck at posting on reddit.

Ok so I travel once or twice a year to India (to visit parents) and sometimes Europe (short 2-3 day vacations ).

now due to health emergency I am stuck in India For a month Maybe more (depends on recovery).

I Live in the UK. the market in India is cheaper than UK and I have reliable vendors.

I had about £2500 saved for a 4k Gaming PC for about 1 year now but never pulled the trigger on it.

I am super bored and Itching to buy a gaming pc so I can work on personal projects and game in the mean time. I am definitely going to buy a pc whether its now or when I go back to UK.

for config I am thinking

CPU- RYzen 9 7950x3d

GPU- AMD 7900 XTX

Mobo - Asus TUF Gaming B650-plus
Ram - 32gb ddr5

PSU - 750w cooler master gold rated

SSD 1 TB NVME - havent decided brand or model

Monitor - samsung 32 inch 4k monitor.

(I already have a gaming pc at home in the UK i dont know full specs it was a pre-built that I bought in 2021 with 11 gen Core I7 with 8 cores and an Nvidia 3070-but I feel this PC is nearing its limit when it comes to performance. I will be repurposing this pc for other stuff or just sell it on Ebay to get some value back)

TL;DR 3 things

  1. gamin pc vs gaming laptop which should I chose given my current circumstances
  2. please review my selection of pc parts and advise me on substitutions or alternate choices to improve on cost to performance.
  3. If Gaming laptop is the better choice for my situation then which one should i go for?
