Long story short, I sold my PC about 2 years ago and bought an Omen laptop with, I believe, an i5 9th gen cpu and a 1050ti.

Recently came upon a desktop pc that has a Ryzen 7 3700x and an RX 580.

Now, I’ve sold the laptop to help cover some of the cost of a new GPU. Here is where I need your help, dear reader.

I have no idea what the best bang for my buck is going to be anymore. When I built my old pc 5-6 years ago, the RTX 20 series was the new hotness and AMD didn’t have anything that could compete.

Now, I’ve read that AMD and Nvidia are pretty neck and neck. And apparently Intel is a contender now too??

So with all of that said, my budget is about $400, but $500 is my hard limit. What is the best GPU I can get for that price?
