Hello. I have been building gaming PCs for the last 3 years (so far, 6 PCs) but I have just experienced a problem for the first time. One of these PCs has been working exceptionally well for the last 5 months, but yesterday, it started crashing in games like genshin and sims 4. This PC has an amd 5600g cpu and a 6650xt gpu with 32 gb ram and abundance of storage. All the drivers are up to date and I'm running on windows 10.
The games launch fine, but after a few minutes of playing, it starts to stutter occasionally and then, after a few more minutes then game completely hangs. What's odd is that when it isn't hanging, the game can run genshin at 60fps consistently and sims at an average of 130 fps. I am not sure what the problem is or how to fix it. Please help.
