Windows won’t install on brand new ssd drive.

I’m just built my first pc. I’m trying to install windows 11 on my computer but when I get to the point where it says to chose the drive windows will go it says the drive isn’t formatted correctly and won’t let me go further. There is an option to format the drive but it won’t let me choose that option. I’m stuck on what to do. Any help would be appreciated.
