Should I stick to AM4 or upgrade to AM5?

Currently I'm on AM4, running a 5800x with a 6900xt. I've been thinking of upgrading to a 5800x3d or adopting a new platform. I could always sell my 5800x for like 150$ and put that towards the CPU. Is it worth the trouble of going this route or should I go Intel or am5? I'm a bit uninformed of the generational jumps.
